The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko intends next week to put his signature under the law on amendments to the Constitution on the strategic course of our country in the European Union and NATO, informs Rus.Media.
“We are members of the spectacular transit of Ukraine from postcolonial countries and parts of the “Russian world” to the state and society, which are prepared and I am sure made criteria that will allow Ukraine to apply for EU membership and sign the action Plan on membership in NATO”, – said the President at a Facebook page.
In this regard, he assured that in the near future will sign the law, which was earlier adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
“The seriousness of our intentions revealed by changes to the Constitution that was voted on last week. I changes to the Constitution will be signed. I hope it will be in Parliament, in public. And this is a very important stage and step in the history of our state”, – said Poroshenko.
He recalled that he had taken a public commitment not later than in 2023 to apply for EU accession and to action Plan on membership in NATO.
