KYIV, 4 Dec. /TASS/. Leaders of the three Ukrainian parties – the “European solidarity”, the “Fatherland” and “the Voice” called on citizens and civil society organizations to come out on December 8 rally to urge the government not to violate the “red lines” during the meeting of leaders “channel four” (Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine). The statement was signed on Wednesday, the leaders of the parties Petro Poroshenko, Yulia Tymoshenko and Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, said on “Facebook” MP from the “European solidarity” Andrey paruby.
“We urge all Ukrainians, all public political forces, public organizations 8 Dec at 13:00 (14:00 GMT) to come to the Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence square), to demonstrate our unity and resolve in the struggle for Ukraine”, – the statement reads.
“On the eve of the Norman meeting is necessary to remind the authorities about “red lines” – the demands of the Ukrainian people that the authorities cannot ignore,” said party leaders.
They believe that the government should not allow any compromise regarding the European and Euro-Atlantic course of the country, and also on “de-occupation and the return of the Crimea”. In addition, the leaders of the opposition parties has called a “red line” elections in uncontrolled territories in Donbas to “the conditions of security and de-occupation”.The party leaders also warned the government that it did not stop the international lawsuits against Russia.
The summit of leaders of the Normandy format is planned for 9 December in Paris.
