A complicated evening for Patrick Vieira at Goodison Park. The Crystal Palace manager saw his side lose 3-2 to Everton after leading of two goals on the lawn of the Toffees. Victory which allowed the latter to ensure their maintenance in the Premier League, causing undisguised joy in the stands of Goodison Park and causing an invasion of the field.

As he was quietly leaving the lawn, the world and European champion was knocked out by an Everton supporter who, we guess, was completely drunk. The drop too much for Vieira who grabs the man and sticks him a brush from the future. The manager then refused; to comment on the incident.
