The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe agreed that the talks on Saturday will discuss the issue of concluding a peace Treaty, TASS.
Both leaders are in Osaka Japanese, which at this time hosts the summit of “Big twenty”.
“Today, I look forward to a discussion on the issue of concluding a peace Treaty based on the results of meetings between the foreign Ministers and our negotiators,” said Abe
He added that he also hopes to review bilateral cooperation and discuss international issues.
In turn, Putin greeted coming from the Japanese Prime Minister’s initiative.
“I am pleased to discuss the full range of our relations, including in the peace Treaty,” he said.
In addition, Putin congratulated Abe on the successful holding of the G20 summit, noting that the results “will accompany us throughout the year, maybe several years.”
