The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has accepted the credentials from new ambassadors of foreign countries 18. Among them, the representatives of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Cyprus, reports channel “MIR 24”.
“Russia is open for cooperation with all States without exception, on the principles of equality and respect for each other’s interests, non-interference in the internal Affairs of and strict compliance with international law,” Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This ceremony is held regularly every few months. It marks the official beginning of work of new representatives of foreign countries in Russia. According to tradition, after the ceremony, the President personally talked with each of the ambassadors.
