Putin invited the participants of the Bishkek SCO summit in Russia for the 75th anniversary of the Victory

Russian President Vladimir Putin invited the participants of the SCO summit in the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war in 2020. He said this at a meeting of the Council of the SCO.

“In Russia, we attach great importance to the preservation of the memory and historical truth about this enormous and tragic event of the twentieth century. Planned together with partners in the Commonwealth of Independent States to organize a large-scale program events. And invite all the States represented here to participate in this work”, – quotes the President RIA Agency “news”.

Putin expressed confidence that this work could connect the SCO youth Council. The head of state invited all summit participants to the celebration in Moscow.

“Glad to see you, dear colleagues, in the course of these events, including during the celebration of the anniversary of Victory in Moscow”, – said the President.

Recall that in Bishkek on Friday opened a summit of the SCO. The event was attended by the heads of all countries-participants: Russia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and India and Pakistan. In addition, at the summit of the representatives of observer States: Belarus, Afghanistan, Iran and Mongolia.

Earlier, Russian President gave an exclusive interview to broadcasting company “WORLD” in which, in particular, spoke about the principles of the Shanghai cooperation organization (SCO).
