Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to connect China and Mongolia to the system of transmission of financial messages of the Central Bank of Russia. With the corresponding statement he made at a meeting with the presidents of China and Mongolia, XI Jinping and Khaltmagiin Battulga in Bishkek, reports RIA “Novosti”.
“In case of your interest, dear colleagues, and I know that such an interest is in principle available, it would be possible to discuss the inclusion of China and Mongolia to the system of transmission of financial messages Bank of Russia”, – Putin said.
The Russian head of state noted that in view of the volatility in global financial markets, the transition to settlements in national currencies becomes more urgent. The Russian leader also drew attention to the importance of unification of customs regulations of the three countries for the development of trade relations.
The President added that Russia advocates the development of tripartite cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. He stressed that over the past five years the country has established contacts and exchange of views between the foreign ministries, line ministries and parliaments, the extension of mutual trade and investment.
Putin stressed that Russia, China and Mongolia have begun to implement agreements on the road map for the development of trilateral cooperation and the program of creation of the economic corridor “Russia – Mongolia – China”.
