Florida, which has been one of the first u.s. States to get out of its confinement, reported Tuesday a record number of deaths related to the sars coronavirus on one day.

The health authorities of this State of the south-eastern United States have announced 132 deaths and more than 9,000 new cases in the last 24 hours.

This brings the total balance of the Florida, one of the epicenters of the current pandemic of COVID-19 in the country, more than 4400 people dead and 290 000 cases reported.

Its governor, republican Ron DeSantis was one of the first in the United States, the beginning of may, to relax the containment and opening of its economy, highly dependent on the tourism industry.
