A judge has authorized the holding of a judicial recount in Longueuil, where Sylvie Parent has prevailed at the town hall against Josée Latendresse on November 5, last. The counting will be done in a hundred sections of the voting, however, has decreed the judge Luc Poirier. Only 118 votes separated the two candidates for mayor of Longueuil. Out of the 59 554 ballots cast, 1266 had been rejected. The procedure for the judicial recount requested by Josée Latendresse might take a few days.
