Regional assessment of the COVID-19: now more than 100 people dead in Quebec

With five new deaths, the Quebec city region now has a total of 101 deaths linked to the coronavirus.

The most recent report published Wednesday, the National Capital has now reached 101 death, while this figure was 96 yesterday. It took nearly three months to reach this mark. The vast majority of the losses of life are found in NURSING homes who have fought outbreaks of the outbreak.

It is not known yet at what place the last five victims have died. The balance sheet of the local CIUSSS of the National Capital will be available later today.

The region of Chaudière-Appalaches has eight deaths since a very long period of time.

The two regions have recorded for 2.6 % of all deaths across the province.

The Québec deplores today an increase of 89 deaths and 541 new cases; the balance sheet reached 49 of 139 persons infected with the COVID-19 and 4228 patients who died.
