The Montreal canadiens said on Wednesday that the hope Alexander Romanov would finally join the group in the city of quebec rather than in Toronto, as it had been previously announced.
On Twitter, the Habs have mentioned a last minute change on the part of the national hockey League (NHL) to explain this confusion. Arrived in Montreal, Romanov is set to continue its quarantine regulatory.
The back Russian can train with his new team-mates in phases 3 and 4 of the plan of return of the NHL, as he has accepted a three-year agreement for the CH earlier this summer. He will not participate, however, not to the playoffs, which will begin on the 1st of August.
Two defenders back on the ice
The defenders Xavier Ouellet and Brett Kulak have for their part made a return on the rink in Brossard on Wednesday.
According to the expert hockey TVA Sports Renaud Lavoie, Kulak, has only made a brief appearance and then retired to the locker room. He has not trained with the rest of the group.
Ouellet and Kulak were absent since the beginning of the camp. They will now be able to battle with the other back of the Habs for a position in view of the 3-series of 5 face the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Phillip Danault, Victor Mete, Cale Fleury, Ryan Poehling and Cayden Primeau were also back with the main group after missing one or several training sessions.
