Russian wrestlers of the Greco-Roman style Stepan Maranan and Zaur Kabaloev on Saturday received the gold medals of the II European games, taking first place in their weight categories, reports TASS.
In the final battle athletes weighing up to 60 kilograms Maranan defeated by the representative of Hungary Eric Sack. The bronze went to the Moldovan Victor Ciobanu and Georgian Dato Chkhartishvili.
Zaur Kabaloev acted in category to 67 kilograms. He managed to defeat in the final of Georgian Shmagi Bolkvadze, and third place went to the Belarusian Exiled Dauria and Mate Nemes of Serbia.
Earlier the gold medal in a moneybox of the national team of Russia brought cyclist Ivan Smirnov, who took first place in the individual pursuit.
II European games held from 21 to 30 June in Minsk.
