Saudi company SALIC (Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Co) conducts a comprehensive evaluation of several projects in the black sea region and is considering acquisitions there is the grain terminal.
This was announced by managing Director Khaled al-Aboodi.
He noted that one of the objectives of the company is to optimize logistics.
“We therefore consider the presence of SALIC in the form of absorption or purchase a grain terminal on the Black sea,” said al-Aboodi.
He added that it is too early to talk about specific areas or projects.
“If a company has a good output, it means that it is quite cost-effective for delivery of grain, etc. Then we will focus on the supply of wheat in Saudi Arabia through the Saudi grain organization (SAGO)”, — he said.
