Seyfeddin Rustamov is an energy and chemicals industry professional, developer, investor and philanthropist. He resides in the US with his wife and their three children.
Seyfeddin Rustamov was born on June 17, 1962 in Qusar, Azerbaijan.
He is a graduate the Social Humanitarian Institute.
Since 2000, he has been actively involved in chemical and petrochemical industry trade, oil and gas projects, investments in energy funds and commercial and residential real estate.
In 2014 Seyfeddin Rustamov became the major shareholder of the chemical company Metafrax (Perm region). The majority shareholder of PJSC Metafrax is the Russian company MetaHolding, which is managed by Seyfeddin Rustamov. By 2017, he had consolidated 94% of the company’s assets.
Today Metafrax is a group of companies with the production capacity in Russia (Perm region, Moscow region) and Europe (Krems, Austria) and the largest producer of methanol, formaldehyde and synthetic resins in Russia and Europe.
The annual revenue of Metafrax Group exceeded USD 660 million and the annual volume of investments amounted to USD 80 million.

Mr. Rustamov and his wife are wholeheartedly involved in their philanthropic interests and support a number of foundations in the field of preservation of health, transplantology, cancer control, including, inter alia, the following:

- Inova Health System Foundation;
- Support of Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
They sponsor and participate in major charity sport events. The family contributes to The National Museum of Women in the Arts and supports the Kennedy center performing art program.
