Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prikhodko announced his candidacy at the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The singer plans to be elected in the majority district in Vinnytsia. This is evidenced by the data published on the website of the Ukrainian CEC.
On the website of the CEC stated that the 32-year-old singer put forward a candidate for the party “all-Ukrainian Union “Fatherland” party”, whose leader is former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
In the program, the government has proposed to introduce a new tax system to bring the economy of the informal sector. In particular, it plans to establish a single tax on profits of business owners at 15%, which will be subject only to those funds that they withdraw from the turnover. In addition, it proposes to abolish the value added tax.
Recall that in 2009 Anastasia Prikhodko represented Russia at the international musical contest “Eurovision”. She managed to take 11th place in the final of the competition. In 2018, it announced the completion of a career as a singer.
