The total amount of the subsidies meant to compensate families for housing and utility services in Ukraine in January-may 2018 made 553,7 million UAH, which is 4.5 times (or 1 billion 919 million UAH) compared to January-may 2017.
As reported by the State statistics service (state statistics), these indicators are presented excluding the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Sevastopol and temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
According to state statistics, since the beginning of 2018 grants assigned 897,2 thousand households, which is 2.3 times less than in the same period of 2017.
The average size of grants for compensation of expenses on payment zhilkomuslug one family in may 2018 declined by 59.1% compared to may 2017 and has amounted to 168.5 UAH.
According to statedata, may-2018 subsidies to pay for zhilkomuslug received 584,1 thousand households, which is 11.5 times less than in April. As noted in the state statistics service, the decline in the number receiving the subsidy related to the change of order of appointment of subsidies according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of 27 April.
As reported with reference to state statistics Committee, in 2017 the total amount of the subsidies meant to compensate families for housing and communal services amounted to 3 billion 980,1 million UAH, which is 1.4 times below the figure for the year 2016.
