This news was presented at a National meeting and exposition of the American chemical society in New Orleans.
The peptide, called RVPSL, inhibits production of the enzyme, which causes a rise in blood pressure.
Scientists conducted an experiment and the results were incredible: the peptide has the same efficiency as a low dose of captopril.
It was also found that the protein from eggs helps to keep blood sugar levels normal, which is especially important for diabetics. Regular consumption of protein eggs reduces the level of bad cholesterol.
