The 84 young participants of the second season of La Voix Jr. were gathered for a first big collective show on Saturday night at the Videotron Center in Quebec City. The winner of the 2017 edition, the Granbyenne Sydney Lallier once again had the opportunity to delight her fans.
“I had a sore throat that day, but it went well,” said the young rapper La Voix de l’Est , who was not too nervous about the idea of to perform in front of some 9000 spectators.

Central to the show, Sydney revisited three songs that helped her climb the ladder at La Voix Junior .
The 11-year-old has particularly enjoyed the staging of Where Is The Love (The Black Eyed Peas), as she entered a large transparent bubble, worn by other participants. “And vocally, I really like Lose Yourself (Eminem) and Glory (John Legend and Common),” she added.
Sydney was able to go on stage with her coach, the very popular Marie-Marie. She was also part of several choirs.
Granbyenne says she has made several new friends over the past few months, and she was very happy to perform with them. She looks forward to Saturday’s concert, held at the Bell Center, home of the Montreal Canadiens.
