1 – In Bayonne, the work of the Bonnat-Helleu museum resumes
Slowed down by the crisis, the renovation-construction of the Bonnat-Helleu museum in Bayonne, closed since 2011, must be restarted. This project, which is the most significant in the city center (22.2 million euros excluding tax, works and furniture), is the subject of a final call for tenders with a view to awarding the last contracts. As soon as all the lots have been handed over to building professionals, a three-year project will be started, as announced this summer. “These lots will be awarded this month of January,” said the mayor of Bayonne, Jean-René Etchegaray. The work is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2024.
