Exhibition of ceramics, painted French and Spanish artist Pablo Picasso will open in the pavilion “worker and collective farm girl” in honor of the 80th anniversary of the exhibition complex VDNKH in Moscow. In addition, the pavilion will also present rare paintings by Russian artists, according to “Moscow 24”.
The exhibition will be held from July 31 to November 3, 2019. Among the exhibits are the ceramic panels, vases, portraits, landscapes and still lifes created in the period from the late eighteenth century to the 1970-ies of the last century. In particular, visitors can see the painted Picasso vase “Owl” decorative panels “bull’s Head” and “Dance”.
In addition, the exhibition will be presented paintings of the Russian painter Arkady Plastov, Vasily Polenov and Vasily Vereshchagin, which are stored in the funds of the Ulyanovsk regional art Museum.
Representatives of ENEA said that the exhibition will be held in the framework of inter-Museum exchange of “Resident”. Thanks to her, the exhibition centre has already appeared exhibits of the State Museum of Vladimir Mayakovsky, the Yekaterinburg Museum of fine arts, Mikhail Bulgakov Museum and Samara Museum of art.
The entrance to the exhibition is free on weekdays from 11:00 to 15:00, and every third Sunday of the month.
