The artist from Argentina, Leonardo Erlich on the ocean in Miami showed the public his most extensive work.
He created from the sand of a huge traffic jam, which “stuck” from 66 cars.
A master is called the “Order of importance”. The preparatory phase and work on the sandy figures, took the artist two years. To implement his idea, he took 330 tons of sand and more than 1 million dollars!
Such a large amount was collected with the help of sponsors and donations. Also, $ 300,000 was allocated by the authorities in Miami.
Each sculpture in detail, repeats the appearance and dimensions of the original cars. Among them you can find Ford Focus, Land Rover Freelander, Chrysler PT Cruiser or Dodge Neon.
