The Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Wednesday, November 6, has allocated 1.2 bn UAH for the implementation of more 2 thousand projects on thermal modernization of apartment houses.
It is noted that this will help reduce heat loss from 20% to 50% depending on the type of thermo.
As reported by people’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko in Telegram channel from the closed session of the government, the funds will be used to increase share capital of state, “energy efficiency Fund”.
In the state budget of Ukraine to 2019 provides 1.6 billion UAH to the authorized capital of the energy efficiency Fund.
As reported, the new energy-efficiency requirements for residential buildings will come into force on 1 December 2019.
Under the new GOS, homes and built-in premises for public use should be designed with energy efficiency class not lower than “C” subject to the requirements of DBN V. 2.6-31:2016 “Thermal insulation of buildings”.
The updated standards will apply to new construction and renovation of housing.
