According to the decree, the subsidy is not granted if the period of overdue debts on housing and communal services exceeds two months.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was reduced to one month maximum period of arrears for housing and communal services subsidies, informs Rus.Media.
This is stated in the text as adopted at yesterday’s meeting government regulations.
Its decision, the Cabinet changed the number of points of the regulation on the procedure for the appointment of housing subsidies. In the previous edition it was mentioned that the subsidy is not granted if the period of overdue debts on housing and communal services exceeds two months.
“The housing subsidy is not granted (including the next period), if the structural unit for the social protection of the population received information about the presence of expired more than a month (on the date of filing of such information) of debt on payment for housing and utility services, expenses for management of the apartment house, the total of which exceeds 20 tax-exempt minimum incomes of citizens at the date of application for the appointment of housing subsidies,” the report says.
However, it is noted that the corresponding rule does not apply when assigning subsidies for the next period in the case where the Ministry has not provided funding for housing subsidies to the citizens in the form of money (including cash).
The Cabinet also approved the Ordinance provides that from may 1, 2019 the appointment of housing subsidies to households that received such a grant during the heating season 2018-2019 on the basis of their applications until December 31, 2018, only upon submission of the new application (which must indicate the mobile phone number of the applicant) and declarations.
