Petty-bourgeois court of Moscow has registered the claim of rapper Levan Gorozia, known as L’one, to the label Black Star, its founder Timur Yunusov and CEO Paul Kurganovo. The contractor intends to defend his or her work and stage name, reports TV channel “360”.
The representatives of the press service said that the claim was registered on 8 July 2019.
L One previously announced that it is not the artist on the label Black Star 16 Mar 2019. In social networks, he said that the record label is trying to Rob him of his creative alias and songs.
The founder of the label Timur Yunusov, known as Timothy, explained that according to the contract with Gorozia, all his works and stage name are the property of the company. And CEO of Black Star Pavel Kuryanov said that if the rapper would violate the rights label, its representatives will go to court.
“The fact that he wrote his vision, he can do anything. The company has its own rights, and if it is to break them, we will go to court”, – said the Kuryanov.
It should be noted that in the spring left the company and another famous performer – Yegor creed, which the label also initially denied the right to use a pseudonym. Later, however, the artist managed to defend their rights.
