New building codes in Ukraine will be required to adhere to the European energy efficiency class not lower than C.
The Ministry of regional development will introduce a new building code rules requiring designers of housing to comply with energy efficiency class not lower than C, which will allow you to save up to 40% energy. About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry of regional development, informs Rus.Media.
It recalled that on 23 July 2018 entered into force important for Ukrainian energy independence act, providing for the use of the European classification of building energy efficiency from A to G. This law must be considered when upgrading existing state building codes, in which there is only “General requirements for energy saving”. In the European Union to energy efficiency are the increased attention and all the technology for heat conservation is “an integral part of life of each resident”. The rule will apply to new housing construction and reconstruction. According to the press service of the Ministry of regional development, the draft of the new construction norms (DBN) is developing the Ukrainian zonal research and design Institute for civil society.
