The Praz-Delavallade gallery begins the new year on a note of hope by inviting color in all its forms. A collective exhibition, where all the colors taken together take power thanks to the sensitivity and perception of the world of each of the invited artists. This adventure of color within contemporary art, from the white square of Malevich, to the outrenoir of Pierre Soulages or the IKB blue of Klein, helped to give a strong identity to each of these creators. Today’s art is no exception to the rule: “This insatiable thirst for color is a natural need, color is a vital necessity, a raw material essential for life, like water and fire”, proclaimed Fernand Léger. The use of color becomes the projection of a subjectivity that tends to distort reality to inspire the viewer with an emotional reaction. It’s up to everyone to find their own truth and see it all in all its colors! “The earth is blue like an orange” liked to remind his contemporaries of Paul Eluard. Guest artists: Soufiane Ababri, Pierre Ardouvin, Pauline Bazignan, Matthew Brandt, Jim Isermann, Dan Levenson, Maude Maris, Golnaz Payani, Christine Safa, Marnie Weber, Brian Wills, Guy Yanai.
