The European Commission should not only accelerate the implementation of the Association agreement of the EU with Ukraine, but “to deepen sectoral cooperation where appropriate”
The future head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen expects the acceleration of the implementation of the agreement on Association of Ukraine with the EU. This is stated in a letter to von der Lean towards the alleged European Commissioner for neighbourhood and enlargement of the Oliver Verhei, reports DW.
According to von der Lean, the European Commission should not only accelerate the implementation of the Association agreement of the EU with Ukraine, but “to deepen sectoral cooperation where appropriate”.
“You should make full use of the support Group for Ukraine (European Commission) to support reforms and promote an unwavering dedication to the European Union the territorial integrity of the country,” the letter reads.
It is reported that Leyen expects Fargei new political goals of the “Eastern partnership” until mid-2020.
