The European Commission and the European Parliament of Ukraine expressed his optimistic and put our country in the list of priorities for its activities.
This became known thanks to the statements voiced at a joint briefing representatives of the EU and Ukrainian Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk.
“You can be sure that Ukraine will remain a top priority for the European Parliament and the European Commission for this period”, — said the Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on foreign Affairs David McAllister.
According to McAllister, at the moment Ukraine is the main priority of the European Parliament and the European Commission on the current composition, and also added that no one country outside of the European Union they have no closer relations than with Ukraine.
“With regard to the ongoing negotiations on the Association Agreement, it is crucial to improve coordination of activities towards its implementation and introduction, and lift it to new higher levels. Because the policy of Brussels are formulated simply — to bring Ukraine closer to the European Union,” added McAllister.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk said that the Association agreement between Ukraine and the EU will be updated in 2021.
