    It took several months to investigators from the companyAvranches (Channel) to go back to the source. Work rewarded on December 14 with the dismantling of a major drug trafficking enter here Some and the Brittany. As part of this operation, the department’s gendarmes were supported by teams from Calvados, Ille-et-Vilaine and a research section based in Caen. This traffic was precisely organized between the south-Manche and Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine).

    6 people arrested

    Supported by three dog teams specializing in narcotics, the gendarmerie services carried out several searches which themselves led to 6 arrests, including 2 on Breton land. The investigators thus found heroin, cocaine, methadone, cannabis, but also cash. Acquired with traffic money, a television screen and a vehicle were seized.

    At the end of the custody, the accused were finally presented before the prosecutor of Coutances. The two providers based in Brittany were jailed pending trial on January 15, 2021. Others involved in this trafficking will appear in court at a later date.
