The grain harvest in Ukraine has reached 75.2 million tons
|Ukrainian farmers as of December 10 held a gathering of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine on the area of 15.2 million hectares or 99% of the forecast and gathered 75.2 million tonnes of grain with an average yield of 49.5 C/ha.
This is stated in the message Information-analytical portal of Ukraine’s agriculture.
In particular, we collected:
corn — 35.2 million tons with the area of 4.9 million hectares or 99% of the forecast yield at 71,4 kg/ha;
buckwheat — 89 kt from the area of 67 thousand hectares or 99% of the forecast at productivity of 13.3 C/ha;
millet — 161 thousand tons per year 89 thousand hectares or 99% of the forecast with the average yield of 18.1 C/ha.
In addition, sunflower threshed on an area of 5.8 million hectares, or 100% and collected 14.6 million tonnes of grain with an average yield of 25.1 kg/ha. Soybean was threshed on an area of 1.57 million hectares or 99% of the forecast and harvested 3.7 million hectares of grain at an average yield of 23.5 t/ha. of Sugar beet collected 9.8 million tonnes with area of 220 thousand hectares, or 100% of the forecast with an average yield of 446 kg/ha.
According to the areas under harvest 2020 winter crops for grain were sown to 7.0 million hectares or 96% of the forecast, including:
winter wheat — 5.9 million hectares or 95% of the forecast;
rye — 124 thousand hectares or 102% of the forecast;
winter barley — 920 thousand hectares, or 100% of the forecast.
In addition, winter rapeseed, with projected area of 1.1 million hectares was sown on 1.1 million hectares, or 101% of the forecast.
