The man in question, James Alex Fields Jr, is accused of murder in the second degree. In that gesture, he has wounded 19 other people.
A campaign sociofinancement was established on the site GoFundMe to help the family of the victim . In just a few hours, over$ 140,000 has been raised. The goal is$200,000.
“She died doing what she needed to do. My heart is broken, but I will always be proud of her,” wrote her mother on the page GoFundMe.
The friends of Heather Heyer asked the audience to light a candle on the stroke of 22H this evening to denounce racism and fascism.
