QUEBEC | employees of the Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq) have agreed to a 72% agreement in principle recently.
The voting process was held during the last three weeks in the margin of a virtual tour.
“The new employment contract provides for bonuses for the remuneration of a total value of more than 10% over the next five years, either for the duration of the agreement’, has told on Thursday, by issuing a press release.
The renewal of collective agreements for more than 2000 members of the trade Union of the public service and parastatal du Québec (SFPQ) in the national parks, the wildlife reserves, the Manoir Montmorency, and the parc de la Chute-Montmorency, the headquarters of the Sépaq, the camping des Voltigeurs, the tourist centres of Lac-Kénogami and Lac-Simon, the Gîte du Mont-Albert, the Inn of the mountain of the Chic-Chocs mountains, the Inn of Port-Meunier, and the Aquarium du Québec.
“This is a positive outcome for all parties. This negotiation has allowed us to find concrete solutions to several issues raised by our members, and this, without conceding a significant decline,” said Maryse Rousseau, vice-president and spokesperson of the negotiating for SFPQ.
“This agreement is excellent news for our members, but also for the whole of the population of Quebec who will be able to enjoy these gems and our beautiful natural areas, during the current summer season and for years to come,” said, for his part, Christian Daigle, general president of the SFPQ.
