The Minister of health of Kazakhstan, Yelzhan Birtanov announced that the hospital in serious condition, nine patients injured in the blasts in the town of Arys, reports “Interfax”.
“Nine patients are in intensive care, four of them children, five adults. (…) This patients, unfortunately, are at risk. As I said, potentially in the ICU, all patients are, so to speak, on the brink, so our main task now is to prevent losses,” said Birtanov at a press conference.
According to him, these patients of traumatic brain injury.
“There are also shrapnel wounds due to the fact that a number of explosions occurred,” added the Minister.
All in all, according to him, for the help to doctors in the blasts, appealed 409 people. Hospitals are currently 65 patients.
