This Austrian town of incredible beauty is one of the most popular and visited in Austria after Vienna and Salzburg. Also, Hallstatt is the oldest inhabited to this day a village in Europe, where human activity began 2000 years before our era. To get to Hallstatt by train from the Austrian capital or Salzburg. The trip will take about 3 hours.
The Sicilian beauty of Taormina, located near the mount Etna along the Ionian sea, is the place where you should visit at least once in your life. This is one of the most beautiful areas of Sicily. The town is endlessly praised the French writer, guy de Maupassant, and argued that if fate will give you only one day in Sicily, then hold it in Taormina. Here there is incredibly romantic-dreamy atmosphere, and most importantly – have something to watch. Greek theatre, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Church of St. Augustine, Church of our lady of the rock, the Palace of Corvaja – one day you will be here a little. To get to Taormina from Catania airport by bus Interbus (half an hour) or Messina by train (40 minutes).
This is the perfect place to relax from the metropolis and bustling everyday life. Lake bled is situated 32 km from Ljubljana, at the foot of the Julian Alps at an altitude of 501 m above sea level. Here magnificent nature, interesting monuments and pristine hot springs. In the summer here going to the beaches, and in winter the surroundings of lake bled, become a major ski center in Slovenia. Geiranger fjord, Norway
Ålesund is one of the most beautiful and visited fjords of Norway. Here are the famous Norwegian waterfalls “Bridal Veil”, “Seven sisters”, “Bottle”, “Drunk groom” and mount Dalsnibba. The size of a small fjord in just 20 km, but it is striking in its beauty! Geiranger is a UNESCO world heritage site and is the most popular Park of cruise ships. Suggest to visit the Museum of the Geirangerfjord, where you can find a variety of artifacts telling the history of the region. And be sure to take a photo with a huge Troll in the port of Geiranger!
To get here by bus from Oslo: daily dispatch to Alesund (about 10 hours drive), where we do a transplant on the bus to Geiranger (110 km).
Szentendre is a cosy, colourful and creative town on the left Bank of the Danube 20 km from Budapest. Love to come here tourists, when I looked in the Hungarian capital is all planned. For many years Szentendre is considered the main habitat of the Hungarian artists, graphic artists, ceramists, sculptors, writers and poets. There is even a term in the Hungarian art – sentandrejski school. There are many art studios, museums, natural markets with original Souvenirs and decor for the home. To Szentendre the most convenient to get by bus from Budapest. The trip will take about 30 minutes.
The village of Giethoorn, located in the North of the country in the province of Overysel, called “Dutch Venice”. There are no roads and transport. Everywhere many calm canals and centuries-old wooden bridges, fairy houses with thatched roofs and colorful flower beds. The main means of transportation in town – boats. Here there is an incomparable atmosphere of the Dutch village of the 18th century – there you will find comfort, tranquility and complete serenity. The place has gained widespread popularity among tourists in the 60 years after the Dutch filmmaker Bert of Haanstra showed Giethoorn in his film.
To get from Amsterdam on a rented car or by train to Steenwijk station and there take bus No. 70. The path takes about 2 hours.
The picturesque town of Grasse, situated on the Cote d’azur among the lavender fields, referred to as the French capital of perfume. There is a famous perfume house “Fragonard” and was created by the famous “Chanel № 5”. Grass is not as popular among tourists as other towns of Provence, so here there is a very quiet provincial atmosphere. Outstanding here the Old town, many old perfume shops, which are more than 200 years, delicious restaurants and vintage shops.
Drive to Grasse from nice or Cannes by bus.
San Gimignano, Italy
If you’re in Florence in the summer, be sure to take a detour in the “medieval Manhattan” – the smallest town of San Gimignano. The unique architecture of the head with 14 powerful towers, breathtaking landscapes and only 7 thousand inhabitants make it one of the most romantic, beautiful and visited by tourists throughout Tuscany and Europe.
You can get here by bus from Florence for 7 euros. The path takes about 2 hours.
