At the meeting of the Council of CIS heads of government in Ashgabat was signed a number of documents concerning customs cooperation. So, Prime Ministers of the Commonwealth countries approved an agreement on cooperation of customs bodies in the sphere of protection of rights to objects of intellectual property and changes to the agreement on order of transit through the territories of the participating countries.
Also, changes were made to the agreement on the procedure of customs clearance and customs control of goods transported between countries-participants of the agreement establishing a free trade zone.
Approved the rules of customs control over moving through customs
the border of goods containing objects of intellectual property, and amended the agreement on rules for determining the country of origin of goods.
The parties approved a number of other agreements. In particular, an agreement on cooperation in the field of museology, as well as the agreement on coordination of interstate relations in the field of fundamental research. Following the meeting, approved by the first Deputy head of the antiterrorist center of the CIS.
In addition, the heads of government decided to prepare a draft interstate program of innovation cooperation up to 2030.
Meeting of the Council of CIS heads of governments was held in the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. From the Russian side it was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Also participated in the meeting of heads of delegations of Turkmenistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
