LAVAL – The visits to the funeral home to pay their last tribute to Thérèse Tanguay-Dion, alias Maman Dion, will ultimately not open to the public, as it had been announced on February 3.

This is what has made the family Dion, Saturday, referring to reasons of logistics and security.

Thérèse Tanguay-Dion, who has had 14 children, of whom the most famous singer in the world, Céline Dion, will be on display in a the funeral home in Laval on the 20th of February from 9h to 19h.

The general public is rather asked to testify to his sympathy in writing to the Foundation Maman Dion, or by making a donation to the organization founded by Ms. Tanguay-Dion in 2005.

Ms. Tanguay-Dion, who was 92 years old, died on the 17th of January last. She is survived by her 13 children, Denise, Clément, Claudette, Liette, Michel, Louise, Jacques, Ghislaine, Linda, Manon, Pauline, Paul and Céline, as well as their spouses and joint respective, his 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, specified in the notice of the death.
