The race to the rectorat of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) starts again, after two rounds where none of the candidates had been able to stand out. Two candidates will be the fight in the third round which comes to boot, announced Thursday morning the direction of the UQAM.

Corinne Gendron, professor at the School of management sciences (ESG), will play against Magda Fusaro, vice-president, information systems of the UQAM.

Mrs. Gendron was a candidate in the first two rounds, which occurred earlier this year. It was measured to Luc-Alain Giraldeau, dean of the Faculty of science. The latter withdrew from the race to the rector of UQAM and has been appointed director general of the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).
