The former player and assistant coach of the Saguenéens of Chicoutimi Roberto Lavoie died on Wednesday.
“The organization of the Saguenéens offers its most sincere condolences to the family, friends and former teammates of Roberto Lavoie” wrote the formation of the League of the Quebec major junior hockey on his Twitter account on Thursday.
The man who had a 57-year-old has played four seasons in the circuit québécois. He notably played in 162 games with the Saguenéens and 66 with the Quebec Remparts. In total, he has amassed 147 goals and 198 assists for 345 points in 228 games.
After passing junior, Lavoie has played two campaigns with the Whalers Binghamton, in the american League. He has also played in Switzerland for a few years.
