“The secret”: Roxane Bruneau sings against domestic violence

To raise awareness of the ravages of the physical violence, but also psychological, Roxane Bruneau has recorded a new version of his song “The secret”, which all proceeds of sales digital will be donated to the organization, SOS violence conjugale.

The young woman has plunged back into her story and that of his mother, who was marked when she was aged just 12 years old.

“Younger, my mother was with a violent man. We have lived with him for several months, during which it has been subjected to psychological violence. One day, I’ve had enough and, in trying to defend, the mental violence to physical violence. He raised his fists. This was the beginning of the end”, recalls she, in a press release.

Yet, the output of the play, “the secret” – available on various digital platforms and accompanied by a music video shot in containment – is accompanied by a message of hope. “I want people to know that you can get out…”, said the singer.

Roxane Bruneau has launched its second effort in the fall. The first excerpt, “Love yourself again”, was unveiled last winter.
