Ukraine goes to NATO.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading the presidential draft law on national security of Ukraine. The bill provides that the national interests of the country is the acquisition of membership in NATO.
During a speech in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the Secretary of national security and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said that the adoption of such laws will protect Ukraine from aggression by the Russian Federation. About it reports “Rus.Media”.
He added that the draft law was developed together with experts from NATO, EU and the USA.
For the bill voted 265 deputies.
Later, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Facebook thanked all the deputies for their work and support this bill.
