An important system has been put in place by the Cross Corsen and the Finistère firefighters to save three people who capsized off Carantec this Sunday around 11:30 am. Among the means deployed: a dragon 29, a star of the SNSM of Roscoff, two zodiacs of the firefighters, as well as two ambulances.
The boaters went out to sea aboard their catamaran, while Storm Bella was still present and the conditions at sea were not at all ideal. They were rescued after desalting near Île Louët. Two of them were able to reach the coast on their own. As for the third person, who had taken refuge on the hull of the boat, it was recovered by the firefighters. They are all three safe and sound.
