Tokayev promised to protect the rights of every citizen of Kazakhstan

Nur-Sultan ended the inauguration ceremony of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He took the oath at the Palace of independence, the correspondent of “MIR 24” Gulmira Zhanzakova.

The motorcade of the head of state drove through the main thoroughfares of the left Bank – from the presidential residence “Akorda” Palace of independence in the main square of Nur-Sultan.

In front of the building he was met by a ceremonial cannon shots. At the beginning of the ceremony, the hall made the flag, the national flag and the Constitution of Kazakhstan. Tokayev said oath in the main document of the country in the presence of senior civil servants.

From that moment he officially takes office as head of state.

“I solemnly swear to faithfully serve the people of Kazakhstan, strictly to follow the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, guarantee the rights and freedoms of citizens, conscientiously fulfill the entrusted to me high duties of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, – said Tokayev.

Later he was awarded the certificate of the President.

“Plan specifically to tackle social problems, to assist those in need. The government was instructed to prepare measures to achieve tangible results in this area. We need to make serious changes in social policy. Will support the Kazakhstan businessmen, to attract and protect investment, promote business activity, to form the middle class. My goal is to ensure the unity of society and to protect the rights of every citizen”, – said the head of state.

The special foreign guest at the ceremony was not. The event invited only the diplomatic corps accredited in Kazakhstan.

Tokayev with the big separation has won at the extraordinary presidential elections. He scored almost 71% of the vote. Thus, Tokayev became the second popularly elected President of Kazakhstan for five years.
