The US President Donald trump said that the us sanctions against Russia will be saved.
He said this while interacting with journalists in the White house, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
He also stressed that he agreed with the conclusions of us intelligence that Russia interfered in the U.S. presidential election in 2016.
At the same time, trump said that any actions taken by Russia, did not have any impact on the election outcome.
Recall, July 16, in Helsinki behind closed doors had an official meeting Donald trump and Vladimir Putin. At the final press conference the parties noted the progress in improving bilateral relations.
Trump said that there is no reason to believe that Russia organized a hacker attack during the presidential elections in the United States in 2016 to help him win. According to him, Putin had been “very persuasive” in his rejection of intervention in the American elections.
