The attacks occurred on the nights from Sunday to Monday and Monday to Tuesday in two homes located in Champigny-sur-Marne. Several tens of thousands of euros were stolen.
A dozen people suspected of having attacked, kidnapped and burgled families in Champigny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) were arrested, BFM Paris learned on Wednesday from a police source, confirming information relayed by Voltage.
The attacks unfolded within two days. The first occurred on the night of Sunday to Monday. Two people entered the home of a retired couple. The latter, forced to lie on the ground, had to give the combination of their safe. 90 euros were stolen.
The next day, not far from this house, several thugs broke into the house of a couple and their two children. After hitting the father, they took the mother to withdraw 4000 euros from an ATM. Back at the family’s home, they then got their hands on 15,000 euros of jewelry before fleeing.
Supported by the firefighters, the retired couple like the family did not require medical assistance.
