Two snowmobilers rescued in the Côte-de-Beaupré

Two snowmobilers in bad shape were rescued by the Sûreté du Québec after their cars were stuck in the middle of the storm, on Friday evening, in Saint-Tite-des-Caps, on the Côte-de-Beaupré.

Police on snowmobiles have been called upon to respond to 17 h in order to rescue two snowmobilers.

The duo has found “stuck and lost” in the trail no. 3, in the region of Charlevoix–Côte-de-Beaupré.

During this time, the storm descended on the region. Dozens of centimeters of snow and a “zero visibility” cumber the two men, who were trying as hard to get rid of their quagmire.

The police have finally been able to reach them after several hours thanks to the GPS coordinates. The snowmobilers were located around midnight at Saint-Tite-des-Caps.

The two snowmobilers were dépêtrés of the snow and the police were able to escort the two men out of the trail.

Fortunately, nobody was injured.
