Ukraine will cease to provide the citizens of Estonia long-term visas free of charge, reports “European Pravda” writes FaceNews.ua.
This is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of 15 November 2019.
The Estonian government overturned the decision, allowing the Ukrainians not to pay the state fee for long term visas, then similar decision taken by the Ukrainian authorities against Estonians.
Its decision, the Estonian authorities explained that 90% of Ukrainians who are applying for a visa for a longer stay, going to work in this country. The same decision was taken in respect of the Belarusian citizens.
It is expected that from 1 January 2020, the amount of the state duty for issuing long-term visas to Estonia will increase from 80 to 100 euros.
