Uzbekistan will supply Russia with vegetables and fruits. On the eve of the Central Asian Republic held a meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of governments of the two countries. The Prime Ministers of Russia and Uzbekistan, Dmitry Medvedev and Abdullah Aripov have discussed the issues of cooperation. The parties following the meeting, signed the roadmap for cooperation in agriculture and a number of other documents.

The trade turnover between the two countries reached four and a half billion dollars. However, Moscow and Tashkent are connected not only by trade. Countries have joint projects in the fields of culture, education, science, energy.

The Russian Prime Minister met with the President of the country. Shavkat Mirziyoev said that the peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan missed each other. This is also the rate of development cooperation, and the fact that all the plans are implemented.

In Uzbekistan Dmitry Medvedev spent two days. Discussed major joint projects in energy, industry, transport and agriculture.
