Videotron wants to put before the quebec cinema. In the framework of the campaign #culturedici, the company is launching an appointment-allowing you to discover or rediscover an artist of the seventh art here.
Every Wednesday of the summer, Videotron, in collaboration with Elephant, will offer a thematic selection of films featuring a craftsman of our cinematography.
The films will be available for rental from the video-on-demand Helix and illico.
“Strongly committed to the support and promotion of our culture, we are pleased to propose today, as part of our campaign #culturedici, a new initiative aimed to encourage Quebeckers to discover or rediscover all the richness of our directory in cinema,” said Pierre Karl Péladeau, president and chief executive officer of Quebecor, by issuing a press release.
The first appointment offers you to immerse yourself in the work of Denys Arcand. Accordingly, it is possible to view some of his most striking works, including Réjeanne Padovani (1973), The decline of the american empire (1986) and Jesus of Montreal (1989).
Exclusive interviews with artisans are also offered to enhance the experience. In addition to Denys Arcand, 13 other great artists of quebec cinema will be represented.
