War crimes committed in armed conflict, will be investigated according to the new procedure.
The development of the corresponding document is now engaged in the General Prosecutor’s office.
It will be a “step by step instructions” for prosecutors and law enforcement who are engaged in pre-trial investigation under conditions of armed conflict and the lack of part of the territory.
This was announced by Deputy Prosecutor General Gunduz Mammadov during his working visit to Luhansk region, informs the website of the GPU.
This document will become a kind of algorithm of actions for all bodies of preliminary investigation and prosecutors will facilitate the qualification of the offences committed to obtain a more qualitative analysis and describe methods of collecting evidence and documentation of war crimes, says Angle.
