NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg urged the countries of the Atlantic Alliance, to provide adequate support for the black sea region, particularly Ukraine and Georgia.
“We are partners with Georgia and Ukraine in the black sea region. We call upon allies to provide the necessary resources, personnel, in order to be sure that we provide more practical help (Ukraine and Georgia. – Ed.)”, Stoltenberg said on Wednesday ahead of the meeting of foreign Ministers of NATO countries.
He emphasized that NATO supports Georgia in its efforts to become a member of NATO, and noted the assistance of the Alliance in strengthening the defense system of Georgia.
In addition, Stoltenberg said the NATO’s cooperation with the naval forces of Georgia and Ukraine.
